I think it's absolutely fascinating to learn that the Vulgate Grail cycle of King Arthur's legends refers to Sir Lancelot du Lac in such a pretty fashion.

He has long, curly auburn hair, is described as being awe-inspiringly handsome, and beautiful, they describe his lips, his skin, his eyes, his hands and neck (which were apparently rather feminine) and also as having a large chest.

One that Guinevere was quite fond of.

Put that all together and you have a substantial consideration for reading Lancelot, King Arthur's premiere knight, as a trans man.

Guinevere wasn't the only person to go wild over Lancelot's looks, either. Lady Shallot, Lady Elaine, and Prince Galehaut who surrendered a winning battle just to spend the night with him.

So, it's not as though Arthurian stories aren't already q***r as hell. -- Agni 🔥
