Although I only knew him to say hello, he always had a smile and a warmth that made you feel welcome in his store. He left an amazing legacy and will be missed. Deepest sympathy to his family , friends and colleagues.

It is with deep sadness we share Bruce Nordstrom passed away comfortably at home at the age of 90. Mr. Bruce, as he was fondly called within the halls of Nordstrom, is the grandson of Nordstrom founder John W. Nordstrom. He loved the company. He loved the business (especially selling shoes), but most of all, he loved our people and our customers. He will be remembered not only for his significant contributions to Nordstrom, but his passion, integrity and tireless work ethic that inspired everyone around him.
