The main criticisms of DRC-20 have been that they are actually fungible, and nothing would prevent a malicious actor with an inscription wallet to deploy a counterfeit token to the dogecoin blockchain, and that inscription transactions in general cause stress on the blockchain network to be able to continue to serve it's primary use case as a currency.

In addition to what they are already doing with indexing to address counterfeiting, there's an opportunity here for DRC-20 exchanges like Doge Labs (drc-20.org) and Ordifind, to also lift deploy, mint and transfer DRC-20 functions into counter-party "doginal channels" and create a lightning layer equivalent to BTC.

To take advantage of the existing DRC-20 offerings DogeDealz has minted it's own token $DELZ to help fund development efforts for driving global adoption via e-commerce integrations.
