Stroll Laurelhurst and Windermere is an exclusive publication "Delivering Neighborhood Connections" through sharing resid

ent stories, photos, and happenings you’ve come to expect and enjoy. Through hyper-local, resident-submitted content, we create an avenue for these individuals to get to know local organizations, businesses, and their neighbors on a more personal level. Along with our print medium, we also provide digital avenues on which our residents can connect. The final component which makes us unique is the many events that we organize. Local restaurants, spas, salons, and more share their products and services in order to garner a face-to-face relationship with the residents of Laurelhurst and Windermere. 👪 Meet your neighbors the Lovrovich Family! 👪

Growing up in Laurelhurst, Andrew has many memories in the neighborhood and is excited to be creating new traditions with his family here. ✨Andrew, Brooke, and their daughter Violet moved to the neighborhood in late 2023.

The couple met on a blind date in 2016 that was set up by mutual friends. 💍They got engaged in 2019 and married in 2021. 👶After welcoming their first baby girl in 2023 they knew they were ready to move back to the Laurelhurst. 🏡They found their perfect home and are excited to welcome baby #2 in March.

🚴‍♂️ A Journey Across America: Pedaling for Purpose🌟

Biking over 4,200 miles and across 14 states, Eric Whettam biked to raise funds for the Stokowscy family orphanage in Poland. The orphanage takes care of children with special needs. Through his journey he faced intense challenges, saw incredible generosity, and after 55 days, his journey raised vital funds to transform lives.

🏐✨ Introducing This Inspiring Neighborhood Volleyball Star: Maddy! ✨🏐

Since moving to Laurelhurst in 2013, she has embraced the neighborhood with her family. 🏡 She loves the closeness that the neighborhood is to UVillage, UW sporting events and the LBC!

Maddy began her volleyball journey in 6th grade and joined her first club team in 7th grade. 🏐 Now she plays on her high school varsity team as a Sophomore and has had some success with their time. Her first time playing on her high school team, they came in 2nd at Districts and took 8th in State. This year they finished their regular season 17-1 and are the 2024 Metro Champs. 🤩

Vibrant colors are spread throughout the neighborhoods as the gardens bloom! Residents also enjoy a hidden gem that Laurelhurst Resident Megan Reibel and her family shared about- the Laurel Village.

🍀March Stroll Laurelhurst Recap 🍀

🍕 We celebrated 30 Years of Varlamos Pizzeria! This restaurant is a true neighborhood gem owned by Kosta and Judy Varlamos!

🍀 Got to know two Irish families, the Synge-Kennedys and Groarkes. They share a love for Laurelhurst and traditions like St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

⚽ The Roosevelt High girls’ soccer team had a historic victory! They won their first 3A State title. From underdogs to champions—Go Rough Riders!

⚾ Bonds were built through Baseball Northeast Seattle Little League. Families connected across neighborhoods, showing that sports are about more than just the game. Play ball!
