Richard D. James, the Emmy-winning production designer who worked on all but one of the 14 seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager, has died. He was 88.

Fan Discussion • Starfleet Academy - Thoughts?

Do you have any concerns with Starfleet Academy being too 90210/OCish or perhaps too comical? What are your thoughts and fingers crossed-items for this new series?

In Creation Entertainment’s Star Trek New Jersey con last weekend, Jonathan Frakes mentioned he will be directing an episode of Starfleet Academy. It could be more than one, but nothing was elaborated. Tawny Newsome from Star Trek: Lower Decks (Mariner) is on the writing staff for Academy.

Fan Discussion • Captain Worf’s History

At the end of DS9, Ambassador Worf begins his tenure, but we never see him actively in the role. How do you go from an ambassador to back on the capital flagship, to Captaining the flagship to losing it, and then working for Starfleet Intelligence??

This would be a good book or a mini-series. What say you?!?

Once again, we have continued confirmation that SNW S3 will premiere early next year, while production for S4 will begin in March. If Paramount Global wishes to avoid Star Wars‘ Andor S2, which debuts on April 22, it is likely that SNW S3 will premiere in February. For those unaware, these two franchises used to compete. It was fun to watch and I kind of miss it.

The Christine Chapel actress is talking about plans for two more seasons of 'Strange New Worlds.'
