🔥🔥🔥 I built my entire copy business with clients, referrals, etc with a simple landing page.
Just this year, I finally built out a website because people were asking when I applied for certain roles, freelance work, etc.
In my opinion, the best thing you can do as a copywriter and marketing consultant is focus on super clear messaging on your core promise and benefits and get proof of concept by working with actual clients.
When a client comes to me to write copy for their new website, if they have not had a good amount of success and proof of messaging, we ALWAYS start with a core messaging session FIRST.
Then, we test this, and only then do we work on sales pages, websites, etc.
Remember, the best approach is to focus on clear messaging, prove your concept with real clients, and then consider investing in a website.
