Virtual reality has shown promise in treating mental health issues, but there's more to be discovered.
According to a systematic review by Psychologist Federica Pallavicini (PhD.) from the University of Milan-Bicocca, virtual reality can help reduce anxiety, depression, stress, and pain during the pandemic. The review also highlights that commercial content such as VR video games can have the same positive effect. However, the cost of headsets and usability issues remain barriers to access.
