Sorry to learn of the passing of Seattle music journalist, Dawn Anderson - contributor to The Rocket, founder of Backlash. Coming up in Seattle at the time that I did, I was very familiar with her work, and was fortunate to be able to meet with her when I first came here to Tucson. We spent a good hour reminiscing about the “good old days” over coffee. Though we’d messaged back and forth a number of times in the decade since, that was the first and last time we intentionally met face to face. As I thanked you then, Dawn, I thank you now, for being part of what shaped my musical tastes, and the whole music-adjacent path I’ve been on much of my adult life. The heavens shine brighter with the addition of your light. Boy Howdy!
