Hi, my name is Sarah and since there are a lot of new faces, I thought I’d reintroduce myself!

I have been making content for about a year and a half now and I love that it combines two of my passions, the outdoors and teaching! 🍎🌲

As a full-time educator, I stick with local adventures during the school year but during summers I like to expand my radius! (Thought Washington really is the best in the summer)

I adopted a pup named Meatball this past March! He has been wonderful to on the trail and basically at everything. He’s perfect. 🐶

I am from Illinois, but lived in California for two years and now I’ve been in Washington for five. I always thought I would move around a lot…and I think I just might do that still but in a van 🤪

I am currently on my way to hiking all 100 Classic Hikes of Washington. I’m half way done and plan to do a LOT of backpacking in the summer for the longer trails on the list. 🥾

In the debate of “camping blanket vs sleeping bag”, there are so many individualized factors that are in play when figuring out what will work best for you. My best suggestion that I have for you as you read through this guide is to consider EVERYTHING you plan on using the camping blanket or sleeping bag for.
