In 1950 WCDL 1440 AM went on the air. It was licensed to Carbondale, PA. This is a photo of the car that radio host Joe Martin drove when he worked at the station. Who remembers Joe Martin? Who remembers John Kameen giving a live news broadcast? If my memory serves me correct, it was at 1:55 PM Monday thru Friday.
