Jack of all trades, master of none? Nah, I prefer to be the master of my niche! ⚡️

By niching down, you can differentiate yourself from your competition, establish yourself as an expert in your field, and attract customers who are specifically looking for what you offer. Plus, when you focus on a specific area, you're able to hone your skills and deliver even better results for your clients.

So if you're feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of trying to be everything to everyone, take a deep breath and consider narrowing your focus. List down your dream clients, the kind of customers that can support your business. Are they willing to pay your prices? Do they value your product or service? Is your business solving a problem for them?

How do I do this for my clients? I start off with target audience research. With plenty of demographic and psychographic factors separating your potential customers from the general market, I make sure you know exactly who you want to sell to, and how to attract them.

My next step is market positioning. I'm going to position your brand in the market in a way that there is no strong competitor overlap, but still have plenty of demand. This step is so much harder than it sounds, and takes quite a lot of input from the business owner alongside weeks of research.

But at the end of the day, these factors will help brands grow. This might seem counterintuitive at first - after all, why limit your potential customer base? But the truth is, when you try to appeal to everyone, you end up appealing to no one.

Stop costing yourself sales/bookings…🪄

I always say, “What’s in it for them” while creating content. But, what does that mean? Well, think about it this way, how is your content going to make them feel? You can also think, what am I doing for them? Entertaining, Educating, or Offering?

Making your audience aware of the benefits consistently, will spark an influence. Content can get repetitive when you’re posting about the same offers. But the best way to earn a sale is by repetition. This doesn’t mean posting the same things over again, but come up with new ideas to showcase that same benefit.

And lastly, the trust strategy! I do not recommend posting without a strategy, because that’s pretty much the equivalent to speaking to the wall. Do you want to talk about your business/passion to a wall? No, you want to broadcast it to your target audience and educate them.

Selfish content doesn’t mean it has to be all about you… but selfish content can be selfish to you. By not touching on important aspects of your business and just posting to post, can cost you a lot of sales… so keep that in mind! 💭
