This past Sunday we recognized our seniors for Senior Sunday and we transformed the school into a deep sea adventure for VBS! It is so sweet when we get to come together as a church body to equip the next generation by teaching them about Jesus. We are so thankful for all of you and for all who helped us decorate!

Our families, no matter what they look like, are our first ministry and one of the most important places to impliment the practice of prayer! Summer can be slower for some, and super busy for others- no matter what your summer looks like, we hope this encourages you to slow down and be intentional. We are hiring two Kids Ministry positions at our La Vernia campus:

✨Grace Kids Care Coordinator✨
This position is part-time and it involves coordination of all Grace Kids Care needs, on site supervision during kids care hours, and the hiring of Grace kids care teachers. All while making sure the care is quality and Christ centered!

✨Mother's Day Out Assistant✨
For this role, we are looking for someone who is Admin gifted, driven by Christ, teachable, and has the desire to care for and equip teachers.
This role looks like overseeing and managing Mother's Day Out while it is in session and much more!

We want to be a praying church, not just a church that prays. This coming Sunday, JUNE 2 starting at 6:00pm, we will have another 24 hour prayer event covering VBS events at both campuses. To sign up for a prayer time, you can go onto our sign up sheet (link down below) and pick a 30 minute slot. There are times available from 6:00pm Sunday afternoon to 6:00pm Monday evening. We would love for you and your family to join us as we ask God to do big things through these events. We know that we cannot do anything without God, and prayer is so vital to everything we do. We want to be a praying church, not just a church that prays. This Friday we are having a 24 hour prayer event covering our Dominican Republic mission trip in prayer. To sign up for this event, you can go onto our signup sheet and pick a time that you can commit 30 minutes to praying over the trip wherever you are. There are times availible from 8:00am Friday morning until 8:00am Saturday morning. We would love if you and your family would pick a 30 minute time slot and pray over our DR team! Jeff preached on 2 Corinthians 6:1-13 last week and it was encouraging! We can't wait to see you tomorrow at either our 9am or 10:30am service to hear him preach over 2 Corinthians 7:1!!!

Our youth here at Grace had a great time at their movie night hangout yesterday! Stay tuned for more hangouts coming up soon! If you are not a part of our youth but you have/ know students from 6th-12th grade, they meet Sunday mornings during the 9am service! We would love to have you! 🥳
