I am simply flabbergasted, (and quite frankly) in literal tears, to share that the Culinary Institute of America has chosen Mittler’s as the filming location of their “Golden Chef, It’s Never Too Late” recruitment video. They loved my story, the food and the atmosphere so much so that the Restaurant Management Program is going to highlight the fact that applications are not just for kids straight out of high school! Stay tuned for filming dates.

What a wonderful evening!!
A cooking demonstration at Chianti (need I say more!!) delicious food, great company... and the fabulous FABRIZIO not only fed, educated and entertained us, but posed for pics!!..and Stew and I ran into Alice and the BIRTHDAY GIRL Mary, which was icing on the (birthday!) cake 🎂

The Heritage Garden Club monthly meeting will be held Monday, March 10, at the Knights of Columbus, 50 Pine St., Saratoga at 12 noon.

Guest speaker for the March 10th meeting will be Jessica Luce, from Cornell Cooperative Extension, presenting a program on “Seed Starting Flowers and Vegetables.”

The meeting is open to the public.

How sweet is it when you stumble upon a new person who brings so much joy, color...AND hot coffee into your life!!
I met Blaine (and her adorable daughter!) while hanging on the porch at Woodlife Farm Market one afternoon after work, and of course I had to strike up a conversation. It's what us naturally friendly, inquisitive editor types do, (!!) and I'm so happy I did, as Blaine owns a landscaping company, not far from my new digs.
She not only gave us exactly what we wanted, (I can't wait till spring!!) but also, the curb appeal this beautiful farmhouse deserves, and just in time for its fall shoot 🎃🌻🍁

Blaine, I'm so happy I met you!!

PS... I should've called you on tips on how to get these dogs to POSE for this shot !! 🐶🐾🙄🐾

Watching the blogger Colleen Pausley of PICK through The Barn at Pointing Dog Farm looking for treasures was such a treat!
I've loved Coll's style for years and having her style the farmhouse for next year's fall issue was....
simply...enchanting!
Personally... I'd recommend working with a stylist for anybody's home... it was the greatest process...after I "cleared the decks" she went through and "shopped my stuff" and put back an edited selection... my house actually feels calmer, serene almost...I just love it!!
