Serious Heat, a fictional arcade game disguised as an 80’s buddy cop b movie, ex special forces operatives Jack Matrix and Mac Jackson fight to restore the innocence of Bishop City by cracking down on drug lord Victor Mendez. Little do they know, Mendez is recruiting members into his international cartel to distribute hyperdust, a freebased drug within the city. After Jack’s girlfriend is captured by Mendez’s goons, Matrix and Jackson take matters into their own hands and do what they do best. To them, the only cure of this disease is… death.
In this wildly entertaining 80’s throwback inspired short film, the audience is showered with nostalgic goodies ranging from 80’s movie references, cheesy commercials, and over the top Cannon Films like action.
