Just thought I would post a few events I have had over the last few months. Weddings, dances , an award show and teacher appreciation night. All great times with lots of great people. Such a fun job to create so many memories with.

Had an event for the Mountain View HS Toro Theatre Club. Every year they host the Torony Awards. It is one of the coolest events. My favorite part of each Torony Awards are the performances by the students. They do such an amazing job. Here are a few shots of the dance party we had after the event.

One of my biggest inspirations for music of all kinds is my dad Tumolehu. He was a fantastic musician. He could play just about any string instrument you gave him. Steel guitar, autistic guitar, banjo, violin, mandolin, didn’t matter what it was he could jam. I did not get his talent but I did get his love for music. That is why I love to DJ. The thrill of a crowd, the dancing, the love of music, these all are my favorite parts of playing and mixing songs for weddings, school dances, corporate and birthday parties. Let me help you jam at your next event.

I started Jax’ Em Up because I love music. I love the way it makes others feel. The emotions that music invokes are so powerful. The simple start of a song can spark so many memories.

The name Jax is in reference to my son Jaxon that I lost almost nine years ago. This commemoration helps keep Jaxon alive. Every time I get to say Jax’ Em Up or write it, it incites similar emotions that music brings to my heart. I hope that I get to use the name a lot.

A little tribute to the King of Pop who died on June 25th in 2009. There are some memories that just stick with you and one of them is having this recorded on my grandpa’s VCR. I would watch this video over and over trying to learn how to do the Moonwalk. Michael was just so smooth. Such a great entertainer.
