“The Lady Eagles extended their winning streak to eight games last night with a dominant 107-63 victory over College of the Desert. The team entered the matchup with an impressive 11-3 record and a six-game winning streak, led by sophomore guard Princess McCauley and Freshman guard Kohen Marshall, who has been averaging 11.6 and 11.5 points per game, respectively.”

“The MSJC Men’s Basketball team secured an impressive 93-86 victory on Wednesday, January 8th, against College of the Desert. The Eagles overcame a last-minute venue change due to weather and wind concerns that shifted the game from the San Jacinto campus to the Desert campus. The Eagles entered the contest with a 4-10 record but were riding the momentum of a high-scoring 111-105 win over LA Southwest in their previous game.”

“Fast internet, fast cars, fast food, most if not everything right now, can be completed at a quicker speed than we know it, especially in contrast to the past. This means an onslaught of misinformation gets thrown around and is often misinterpreted because people are not as informed as they should be. An example of this would be how easily anyone can fabricate a Wikipedia page filled with researched materials. This is how easily misinformation can travel through the several channels of communication we have created over time. “

“ From 1999 to 2001, we saw three of the most revered retro fighting games come out one year at a time. They were all entirely by video game company Capcom: Street Fighter III Third Strike, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, and Capcom VS. SNK 2. “VVeteran’s Day is celebrated to honor the patriotism, sacrifice, and service of America’s Veterans. It’s a day of remembrance, reflection, and celebration. Ceremonies include placing floral tributes on the graves of service members and at memorials, as well as naturalization ceremonies. People gather to honor and remember the sacrifices of veterans in the United States Armed Forces. Communities nationwide host parades, ceremonies, speeches, wreath-laying events, concerts, and military displays. Schools may also hold programs with veterans as guest speakers. Many national parks have connections to the military and can be a place to honor veterans. A simple “thank you” or personalized note or card can also be a thoughtful way of showing appreciation.”

Dictionary.com describes it as a relationship that a person imagines having with another person whom they do not actually know, such as a celebrity or a fictional character. How well do you ever know your favorite influencer or celebrity? An influencer constantly appearing on your feed creates a sense of familiarity that can feel intimate. However, it’s important to remember that these individuals often do not know who you are on the other side of the screen.”
