Luckily in SoCal, the weather stays pretty nice year-round, so this was a fun afternoon outing for me and @josephpennerart. After our excursion, we walked around the boardwalk by the boat and grabbed some fish tacos.

It was an unreal experience unboxing our first ever published children’s book today 🥺
As a kid, all I wanted to do when I grew up was hang out in bookstores and walk my dog.
I’d say I’d exceeded my dream life, because I never expected to write a children’s book that will sit on my own kids’ bookshelves one day.
I’m so grateful for a partner who constantly supports me and who I can create with, and I can’t wait to see what else we’ll make together on this wild ride.

When three cousins missed the flavors of authentic Greek food, they decided to open a chain of fast-casual restaurants and name it after the name they all shared - Nick the Greek.
While they started nearly a decade ago in the Bay Area, they have restaurants all over SoCal as well, so I went to check it out and ordered:

✨6-hand roll (salmon, blue crab, spicy tuna, amber jack, negi toro, yellowtail)
I’m happiest when I have sushi, and each hand roll put a bigger and bigger smile on my face ☺️ My favorite hand roll had to be the wagyu-uni roll!

I’ve been trying to push myself out of my comfort zone to grow as a creator, and @thenewprimal Buffalo Style Chicken Sticks were the perfect product to experiment with.
I was gifted these Buffalo Style Chicken Sticks and I love that they’re zero sugar. There’s a new generation of better-for-you snacks, and this is a great option to keep in my bag whenever I need extra protein (often).
I filmed this video with my iPhone 13 Pro Max and edited it in CapCut! It was my first time learning how to use an overlay and mask, as well as adding text behind myself in the last shot.

When I tell you I’m still thinking about these basil chicken wings…😍
White Elephant is a beautiful Thai restaurant tucked away in the Spring Arcade Building in DTLA.
I took my mom there for a mother/daughter date and we had a feast of delicious Thai dishes with gorgeous presentations. We had:
✨Salmon tartare
✨Mushroom crisps
✨Basil chicken wings
✨Pad see ew with steak
✨Panang curry with tiger shrimp (pro tip: if you like spicy, get a level 5 - I got a level 3 on the curry and it wasn’t very spicy for me)
✨Chilean sea bass
✨Fried ice cream (it’s not mango season anymore so they didn’t have mango sticky rice 😢)
Parking: It can be tough if you can’t find a meter but there’s a parking lot directly across the street on Spring St. for $13 (flat rate - I went on a Thursday).

Here are three tips to finding your voice in content creation 👇🏼
1) Experiment with different styles. You don’t have to nail it on day one. Try different things to see what works, but also what you enjoy creating.
2) Once you find your style, be consistent. The more you post in your voice, the more your passion will show in your content.
3) Don’t get stuck in comparison mode. Trust me, I know how easy it is to fall into this trap, and I have to make a conscious effort to redirect my brain when that happens.
