I started as an esthetician, but I’ve always felt the desire to help everyone. Of course, as I grew older, this “everyone” narrowed down quite a bit, but the essence of a healer remains.

I began my journey with energy therapies by practicing Reiki, but when I met a man living in Nicaragua who was born in Belgium, he told me, “What you’re doing isn’t Reiki, look up this information.” That’s when my adventure to understand what I truly am began!

I met Dr. Eric Pearl and studied Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection! Wow, wow, wow! My life finally had meaning, but the people around me in Costa Rica didn’t see it that way; too much religion and the treatment costs didn’t help. I didn’t succeed; in fact, I sank into failure and sought refuge in being a mother, convinced that I could re-enter that great world of lucrative professions at any moment.

But, alas... it was not like that at all. So, being a Valkyrie, I reinvented myself. As I had always taught Italian as a “hobby,” I made it my main job and got certified to teach Italian to foreigners.

Today, here in California, I absolutely feel that my time has come to be who I truly am. So, I’m studying English every day to improve my level and be able to speak comfortably and appropriately in public (I’m bilingual in Spanish) because I want to tell my story in every aspect.

✨Thank you so much for sharing your amazing journey and showing us it’s always possible to start over again and it’s never too late to find our real self!✨

🦋Africa Blues: it sounds painful, but it’s the most beautiful nostalgia one can feel.

I left for a volunteer camp in a village in Togo for the first time in the summer of 2022, and I had a similar experience in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, the following year.

Since then, Africa flows within me along with my blood: the red dirt roads of Togo, the smiles and attention of the children, the traditional songs and dances, the nights in the complete darkness of the jungle, the sudden downpours, the bustling chaos of the capital, the encounters, and the bonds formed. And along with it, the sometimes extreme poverty, the struggles, the pain you encounter: you set out with the idea of helping, you return feeling disarmed, but at the same time so enormously enriched and eager to let everyone know how it is.

I could say so much more, but Africa cannot be described: Africa must be lived. Africa is home, it is family, it is pushing boundaries, it is seeing beyond oneself.💙

🦋Thank you for allowing us to be part of this amazing journey🦋

🌈Hello, my name is Elettra, I am a 39-year-old woman, and for 18 years I have also been in the military. I am the mother of two children aged 10 and 6, and balancing work life with family life has not always been easy, which is why after 11 years of marriage, I separated.

I am a Sergeant Major in the Carabinieri, and I am responsible for protecting civilians and the population. I also worked during the COVID-19 pandemic on the frontline.🪖💪

Military life has taught me organization, which helps me manage my hobbies such as going to the gym and reading📚🤸

Thank you Elettra for being so brave and helping keeping everyone safe, even if this means sacrificing your own personal life♥️ We are honored to celebrate you!🌸

Hey there, I’m Eglantine Chauffour, and I’m excited to open up about my journey. It’s all about embracing life’s surprises, cherishing every moment, and following your heart.

Growing up in the South of France, I was surrounded by the wonders of nature – its sights, sounds, and, of course, its flavors. That’s where my love affair with wine began. I was captivated by its power to capture moments, bring people together, and transport us away to new places with just a sip.

As I traveled the world, learning about vineyards and winemaking, my passion grew. Each experience inspired me to pursue my dream. And in 2019, that dream took root in North California, where I discovered Mariah Vineyards – a place so pure, so vibrant, it felt like fate.

I wanted to create wines that are more than just drinks – they’re stories in a glass, reflecting the grapes, the vineyard, and the vintage, with a touch of my own personality. Wines that build unforgettable memories and emotions. Wines that make you instantaneously travel in a unique place and time and mostly to be enjoyed, always calling for another sip!

Today, I pour my heart into every bottle, hoping to share the joy and empowerment that comes with following your dreams.

So whether you’re looking to add a little magic to your day or join a vibrant community of women supporting each other’s growth, why not give my wines a try?

Here’s to women lifting each other up and creating a brighter future together! Cheers!

The Japanese call it Ikigai, which we could translate as: the purpose of life. It all lies in the ability to find the right path, the one that respects these parameters:

What you love to do
What you are good at
What the world needs
What you can make a living from

After years in the world of journalism, I finally sought and found (hopefully that’s it 😂) my Ikigai. My name is Carola and I decided to dedicate myself to what makes me happy: 3D printing design objects. From here, and also thanks to my partner’s computer skills, Calò was born. καλός like all the beauty hidden behind the infinite potential of creativity. I care deeply about the environment, which is why the choice fell on 3D printing, a process that promotes sustainable production. Each product is made using PLA, a material obtained from the transformation of sugars from corn and other natural and biodegradable sources.

Furthermore, we only produce when we receive an order, reducing waste, paying greater attention to every single detail, and building a sustainable future. Furnishing and helping the environment, what else?

It’s never too late to find your Ikigai🤍

📚Hello Yous community📚
We are three friends, Francesca Carnevale, Eleonora Clemente and Michela della Mura.

We are long term friends and mothers from the Italian northeast. Bored with the office routine, we each found our calling in new careers within graphic design, farming and teaching.

Together, we share the same passion for sparking children’s imagination which led us to publish our first book together.

We hope that our story will inspire you:
Three friends see the same object but visualize different things. And you, what do you see?

UOT IS IT? is a book that plays in multiple ways: using design and your imagination to create a story. The book starts when Francesca sends an image of an apricot to her friends asking, “what do you see?”. Using her smartphone, Michela modifies the image into dog’s muzzle. Eleonora repeats the exercise, modifying the image into a ladybug. The game continues with many modifications, involving other images and photos, creating an infinite number of variations.

A book is full of thought provoking exercises that uses the imagination: available in English and Italian.

Autism what does that word mean to you?

“If you look it up in the dictionary it will say it’s a involving challenges with social communication. However, applying it to my life I had more questions than answers when my nephew got diagnosed at 3 years old. I tried to research all about autism hoping for the perfect answer, yet not finding it because my I was the one who needed to change, not my nephew. He was still the same kiddo who loves Harry Potter and learning languages. Yes, he will have autism for the rest of his life and yes to a certain degree it will affect his socializing, but it doesn’t define who he is as a person.
So far this is what I learned about autism:
1. Don’t be sorry for the neurodivergent community and family members: we haven’t lost anything but gained so much. I gained insight into the beautiful mind of my nephew – getting to know his talents (which are many) and respect his dislikes.
2. Sadly, there are countries around the world where neurodivergent individuals are secluded and have limit access to education, open workplace and resources like therapy. We are in 2024 and there is still stigma.
3. Society needs to change - Often the mold is for us to fit society’s standards and if not, we are outcasted. We need more inclusion and adaptability.

April is the autism awareness month and I want to encourage everyone to learn more, because this allows us to celebrate our differences! If you know someone with autism get to know them not as a diagnosis, but as a whole person each neurodivergent is.”

🌈Thank you Nicole for sharing your powerful story🌈

Hello Yous Community!💖

“My name is Sara. Originally from Italy, I’ve made California my home for the past three years. As an artist and illustrator, I draw inspiration from the hikes, walks, and road trips I take in the West. My work is a reflection of the natural world, depicting wild animals in their native habitats, surrounded by the elements that define them. Indeed, each illustration and painting encapsulates a moment I experienced in the wilderness. As a visual artist, I’m particularly captivated by the interplay of light and shadow, and I manipulate colors to evoke feelings of tranquility and peace. Through my art, I ultimately strive to evoke and preserve the inherent harmony found in nature, often disrupted by human activity. Currently, I am pursuing my BFA in Painting in college, and I aspire to continue on this journey, capturing the beauty of the outdoors and sharing untold stories of nature.”

“I was fortunate enough to find my passion for child development very early in my teenage years. My first child center experience was while earning credits at my local high school. I enjoyed playing and taking care of the kids and naturally just assumed everyone did. The directors and teachers saw something in me that I still hadn’t discovered. They constantly encouraged me to pursue an education in Child Development and Im so glad I listened. Here I am many many years later and still loving what I do”.❤️

Hello Yous community!
We are very excited to share our first story on Facebook!
Enjoy!

“My name is Helena A. Fournier and I am excited to share my story that I hope could inspire other women to pursue their passions!

Writing is meditative for me, but it is also an outlet for all the stories and adventures I have etched in my mind, waiting to be released on paper. When schools closed during the pandemic, I started writing stories for my kids to help them learn about various subjects like Geography, History, Philosophy, the art of writing, the joy of reading, and more. Fortunately, the kids loved the stories! It was my then 6-year-old son who said, “I think other kids would love your stories, too, Mom.” So, I decided to venture into publishing.

So far, I have published two books, “Seven Continents in Seven Days —a Journey to Inspire and Amaze,” and “The Months of the Year -in the Northern Hemisphere.”

I am currently working on multiple book projects simultaneously; one is a series featuring a curious and resourceful Swedish house gnome named Nils Gnome. Another is a middle-school-focused book on stoicism. Merging my academic background in history and education with imaginative storytelling is the most rewarding professional pursuit yet. I aim to ignite a passion for exploration and discovery in my young readers and listeners.”
