Kuang Si Falls is a multi-tiered waterfall located in the Luang Prabang province of Laos. It is a popular tourist destination known for its clear blue pools and lush jungle surroundings. The falls are located approximately 29 kilometers south of the city of Luang Prabang and can be reached by road or by taking a tour. Visitors can swim in the pools, hike to the top of the falls, and visit the nearby bear sanctuary.
In addition to swimming and hiking, visitors to Kuang Si Falls can also take a walk on the nature trails that wind through the surrounding jungle. The trails offer great opportunities to spot local wildlife and learn about the flora and fauna of the area.

Happiness is lush green Oregon waterfalls 😍

This trail may not be for the faint of heart! Located in the Columbia River Gorge, this hike should be on your list come springtime.

💦 Be advised with heavy rainfall this trail does experience closures so know before you go.
🥾 This trail is 12 miles round trip if you want to hike to Tunnel Falls.
🏔️ Elevation Gain is 2,070 feet
🔥 This is a previous burn area so it is vital that you abide by rules so the forest can regrow.
⏰ This took us around 6 hours to complete with stopping for photos and lunch at the end.
💛 Be courteous of hikers going through the Tunnel and give people coming uphill the right of way. We waited for a while to let hikers get through and pass before going back down. The walkway is very narrow!
❄️ It can snow here in the winter. Be prepared with micro-spikes and trekking poles for safety.

The Thuy Tien abandoned water park is a former amusement park located in Hue, Vietnam. It was built in the late 1990s but never officially opened to the public. This is one of the best travel destinations which is often referred to as a hidden paradise. The natural nuance that Mandel Beach has to offer is incomparable. The stretch of white sand beach that is so wide and long coupled with the many coconut trees that adorn the beach and the gradations of the color of the sea water are so beautiful that it gives a special charm when you arrive at this beach.

And, not only that, the distance from the city center, the capital of the Banggai Islands Regency, is quite close to this beach. So, this is very worth it to add to your bucket list if you go to Banggai Islands 🇮🇩🌴

With beautiful colonial architecture and a rustic touch to it and the entire city glittering at night, Hoi An was the perfect way to end Vietnam Trip.

If you plan here, there’s a lantern festival that happens on every 14th day of Lunar Calendar (not English calendars). That day, all other lights are switched off and only the lanterns glow.

Besides that, weekends are a good time to visit too. There’s going to be crowd, but none mattered to me. There are islands, boat rides, pagodas etc you can visit here and also custom-made leather and clothing are pretty cheap here, so that’s something you can indulge in too.

The street markets are also super happening here. With loads of exotic food (mostly nonveg), and a lot of items to shop from (clothing, decor etc.). The key is to bargain. You start off with less than half the original quoted price (for everything).

Red Rock Canyon features a one-way 13-mile scenic drive, hiking and trails, plants and wildlife, geology, camping, cultural resources and much more. Stop by the Visitor Center and get a map so you can plan your stops for hiking and climbing trails. Remember: It’s a ONE-way drive.

While the winter season may freeze out activities in much of the country, Red Rock Canyon enjoys the warm Mojave Desert sun which makes it quite a pleasant season for outdoor activities. The Scenic Drive is open 6am to 5pm daily November through February, with potential limited hours on holidays. Reservations for entry to the Scenic Loop are required for visits between 8am and 5pm.

Cownose rays are a very unique eagle ray that are known to form large schools and migrate long distances, but there are many unknowns about the reason for travel and patterns.
Cownose rays DO have a venomous barbed spine on their tail, but it is not fatal to humans. Cownose rays are active swimmers and very graceful animals to observe in the wild. They are rarely found stationary on the ocean floor like their relatives the whiptail stingray.
