I was very excited to see Late Night With The Devil, however after seeing it, it left a lot more to be desired. In order to have this presented as a recovered footage episode of a late night TV show from the 70's, it followed the basic formula of only the episode footage and select backstage footage (that was ominously filmed by who exactly? Yeah, didn't hit the mark in authenticity there). Anyway, the most interesting bit (in my opinion) would be in the talk show host's backstory, but it is so vaguely touched upon that it lost impact by the end. It's obvious and trite without the understanding of the Main Character who we have no time to really understand as he's playing his TV Host character 90% of the movie.
