This Fall, the KLASH OF THE TITANS makes its triumphant return to North America! Fans will enjoy an epic night of metal with thrash royalty TESTAMENT and Kreator co-headlining the run. The 33-date trek will kick off on September 12th in Reno making its way across the US and will include 7 Canadian dates before concluding in San Francisco on October 27th. Joining the night are special guests Bay Area death metal pioneers and labelmates Possessed!

TESTAMENT states. “Get ready North America. We are looking forward to a co-headline tour with our Thrash master friends Kreator. This is gonna be a madhouse of a show with our Bay Area homies Possessed opening the show, so get there early. A lot has happened this year that we never thought would come to fruition and ever happen again.

We wanted to create a festival that we can repeat year after year, bringing some of our favorite bands, and some of our inspirations to create a day and night of amazing music.

This year, the inaugural year we welcome the legendary BioHazard, to headline with us!

EXCITER from Canada, who we tip the hat to many times over for their inspiration and groundbreaking thrash metal from Canada that helped to begin the whole genre.

We also are welcoming to the stage, some of our favorite, newer bands, and artists that we cannot wait to see the crowd go mental over.

This is going to be the hottest ticket next year for music in the Bay Area and we hope that people from all over the world will fly in for this incredible day.

It’s with an incredibly heavy heart, we must unfortunately announce the coming end of Elbo Room Jack London. The last few years have been an incredible ride, and we’re pretty damn proud of this place. Which in our opinion is not only one of the Bay Area’s best bars, but also one of the best stages to play on. Our staff has always been incredible, and we can’t thank all of you enough for all the love and support you’ve given us over our time here. But with Matt (one of the two owners) permanently moving to Germany, to be with his wife, the time has come for us to go in a different direction.

But the good news is we’re still here! And probably open right now! Although we are putting the bar up for sale, it is a process that takes time. And even if everything happens incredibly fast we would still be several months away from closing our doors. So in the meantime we will still be pouring drinks and throwing killer shows!

And again a huge thank you to our amazing staff and all our regulars for keeping this ship afloat all these years. While we’d love to see the future owners keep the Elbo Room spirit alive, who knows what they’ll have in store. So for now, come on down and join us for a drink. Much love, Erik & Matt

"Today I will be starting treatment for a squamous cell carcinoma. It's a gastric tumor that was diagnosed in my upper stomach in February. I'm making this public to raise awareness for people to pay attention to symptoms of stomach and esophageal issues. If they persist, please go get it checked out. I'm not gonna be sheepish talking about it. I feel that if I can help someone with what I've learned, or someone out there has information to share with me, it's a win-win! When you can name the enemy, it's empowering, and you're 1 step closer to killing it!

Ok, you've heard the bad news. The good news is he feels great physically! I'm gonna beat this like a fu***ng snare drum that owes me money!!! I've had great doctors and a great support system that is an army in itself. I'm ready for the fight!

We have a lot to celebrate this year with the release of what will be a career-defining album and tours to follow! I'm stoked for everyone to hear it, and even more excited to get out there and play some of it! I will see you all very soon! CHEERS!!!"
