Out of respect for the Munive’s privacy we are not going to post updates on Mila or Dario until their family tells us what we can share. Please know they are both still in the fight and battling hard, and they both still need your prayers.

We know many of you are playing and praying for our #22. We ask that you please please please take pictures, tag us, or send us a message so that when the time is right we can show Mila the outpouring of love and support from across the country for her and her family. We are enamored with the amount of love, solidarity, prayers, and support that she has received. What a blessing that a sport we all love so much can bring so many together in a time of crisis. When we say softball is more than a game, we mean it. Softball is about fellowship and family. Please keep praying.

Softball is more than just a game. It’s about the players that become friends, and the friends that become family. Last night after our tournament in Dallas, on their way home to Houston, Mila’s family was involved in a tragic head on collision with a drunk driver traveling the wrong way on the freeway. Milas mother and brother did not survive the accident and now our #22 and her father are fighting for their lives.

Please pray as hard as you can for our #22 and the Munive family.

The softball community is small and this one is going to hurt for a long while.

Nobody better 2’s, nobody better in there.

We have organized a gofundme for the Munives and hope you can find it in your hearts to help them in this difficult time.

Private Softball Lessons

Most know me as Julie, but a lot know me as Coach too.

My softball journey began in Southern California. I was a multiple sport athlete until I was about 15 years old when I know that softball was my passion. Softball didn’t come easily to me, it was something I had to work hard at, and dedicate my time to. I played 8 years of Competitive Travel Softball, 4 years of High School ball, and 3 years at the Collegiate Level attending Kansas Wesleyan University. I have endured many obstacles in my softball career. I have worked through and come back from a torn knee, a broken hand, and an appendicitis. Although it was tough and a struggle being off through each injury, I always managed to come back and strive to be just as strong as I was before. I understand how difficult it is to come back from an injury after months off. I understand that it can take not only a physical tole, but a mental one as well. Which is a big factor in why I have decided to continue my softball career and coach and give private lessons.

I have now been giving private Pitching, Fielding, and Hitting lessons for the past 5 years, and have been a head coach for a competitive team for 3 years now. I love coaching and giving back to the softball community. I want to share my experiences, passion, and better young female athletes. I want to teach them all that softball has taught me. Softball is more than a game, but a window into what life is going to be like in their future. Responsibility, challenges, leadership, communication, relationships and so much more.

I strive in every way to be the best private instructor/coach I can be. I don’t claim to know everything, but I will do everything in my power to be THE BEST and bring out the best in my athletes.
