https://gofund.me/a68c5291 My name is Jennifer Neville. I am a friend of Ty's ( Tyler Fernengel )Today he had a very unfortunate run on his BMX and knocked out his front teeth and broke the bridge of his mouth in multiple pieces and hit his head hard - again.

He is currently on his way to hospital so let’s help raise funds to get him the medical care he needs, the dental care he needs and help to support him and his dog Kodak during this time.

Ty is one of the nicest and most gentle dudes I know - and an absolute legend of a BMX athlete - previously sponsored by RED BULL so I know his fans, friends and strangers will step up in this time of need.

One too many concussions and traumatic brain injuries is not a good thing long term and a new set of teeth is needed too.

UPDATE: His brain scans have come back ok so far... a road to recovery for sure.

Bottom line let’s help him and ease the financial burden for him. From dental care, to ambulance and ER, medical care and more... it will all add up and he has no insurance :(

The Litter4Tokens (South Africa Chapter) initiative was founded on the KZN North Coast in Shaka’s Head. 🇿🇦

This globally recognized, award-winning initiative has helped create a circular economy in underprivileged communities countrywide, where waste collectors exchange recyclable material for essential products. This innovative model clears waste while simultaneously allowing residents to care for themselves and their families sustainably.

Noting the high number of dangerous nurdles (also known as Mermaid Tears) – microplastic pellets which form the base material of plastic products – on KZN North Coast beaches, pioneered the Mermaid Tears project.

This educates people about the incredible dangers of nurdles to marine life, and encourages the purchase of Mermaid Tear Catchers to remove nurdles from sand. Created using recyclable material, the Mermaid Tear Catcher – which doubles as a frisbee – allows users to sift through the sand, separating the harmful nurdles which can be disposed of safely.

Thanks to the funding from the President Stimulus Fund and Brownie points, Litter4Tokens has prevented more than 996 000 bags (1 097 tons) of litter from reaching the ocean, while feeding more than 179 000 people in remote communities across South Africa and Mexico!

This equates to 373 tons of carbon dioxide. Litter4Tokens sister foundation in the USA Trash4tokens.org was launched in 2022 allowing for global educational outreach campaigns impacting more than 32 000 people in schools, foundations, and businesses.

How can you get involved?
In 2022, campaign collected more than 2.6kgs of nurdles, saving thousands of marine lives – now it’s time to beat that record!

Visitors to this year’s Ballito Pro can look out for the trademark nurdle station at Willard Beach where Mermaids Tear Catchers are on sale. All proceeds from the catchers are put back into the non-profit organisation. There are also amazing prizes worth more than R50 000 to be won for those who collect the most nurdles at the event. This is a great activity for the whole family, and a good way to educate children about safe environmental practices.

Donate Here - https://gofund.me/ad78e4fb Unfortunately most of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another, whether it’s been on a personal level, a family member, or someone in our close circle. Recently that happened to a couple good friend of ours. When Beyrick found out about his dad’s diagnosis a couple weeks ago, he reached out to his mates and said that he wanted to take that overwhelming feeling of hopelessness he had, and channel it into bringing hope to a family that needed it most.

He’d found out that his friends mom, Maria had been given a year to live, and being in a tough financial position, his friend Jared was going to have to leave his mom to go oversees to work in order to support her. Beyrick decided that he wanted to raise enough funds for the family to take care of all their financial burdens, so they could be together during this time, without any added stress, allowing them to cherish and take full advantage of the time they have left together. The goal is to help make cancer as comfortable as we can for Maria and her family.

Please join us in showing support for our friend and his mom. She has been battling cancer for quite some time now, and they really need some help.
