☕️ MARIFU COFFEE ROSTER - IWAKUNI, JAPAN☕️

Japanese-American style breakfast at Marifu Coffee Roster located in Iwakuni, Japan 🇯🇵

I have tried a few breakfast spots since moving to Japan and Marifu has been one of my top 3 favorites so far. This is also one of the very few spots that are opened early at 8am so if you’re an early bird like me that enjoy starting off their day before others are up then this is a perfect spot.

Location wise, it is very easy to get to. It’s located down the street from Fresta Mall Calz shopping plaza and they have their own parking lot which is free.

The atmosphere is perfect for those who love solo traveling like myself who prefer a quiet place to relax at whether it’s for a quick morning coffee with some breakfast to a casual snack to grab with friends. They have indoor seating as well as a covered patio seating area. There is different table seatings from booth styles, tall bar counter with stools to traditional wooden tables and chairs.

The food quality I definitely underestimated since the first time visiting I assumed the meals were more on the petite side as the local Japanese usually eat smaller portions than what I’m used to back home in the U.S. The meals are definitely pretty filling in my opinion. I LOVE the omelette here and it’s perfect with the thick toast that comes with it since I find it paired perfectly together as the omelette has a runny texture inside so I recommend dipping the bread in.

For payment, they accept both cards and yen cash. Once you’re done eating, you just head over to pay at the front with the checkout slip and you’re good to go! They also have souvenirs that you can buy in the checkout area which is perfect for gifts.

🥩 GYUTA YAKINIKU - ALL YOU CAN EAT JAPANESE YAKINIKU BBQ 🥩

One of the Japanese yakiniku bbq restaurants I’ve personally enjoyed eating at so far since moving to Japan.

This is an all you can eat spot that has 3 different course type ranging from standard, light or premium. I personally love the premium due to the amount of variety they offer that I love.

The time limit is 120 minutes and there is an ipad that you can order off items from along with keeping track of the time. Did I also mentioned they have an unlimited drink bar that’s included? Yes they do! For the drink bar, you can get up and dispense soda as much as you like within your time limit.

Another fun thing about this restaurant is that it’s one of the few that has a robot cart that helps assist on bringing out your food items ordered from the ipad straight to you.

The restaurant accepts both cards and yen cash. This spot is also family friendly. If there’s a wait for eating there and you have kids then they can play in the kids play area in the waiting area.

Parking is free, but keep in mind that the parking lot is a tad bit small so sometimes during busy rush hours that people do park off to the side.

🌟 2024 INTRODUCTION 🌟

It has been awhile since I’ve been active on this page and would like to reintroduce myself.

Originally from San Diego, CA ; I’ve recently moved overseas to Japan and will be spending the next few years following many new adventures that awaits.
