Three Incredible Years in Washington 🏡🌲A beautiful journey through our time in Washington, filled with cherished memories, stunning landscapes, and the warmth of home. From cozy winter nights to vibrant summer days, here's a glimpse of what made our house a true haven over the past three years. 💚
Before leaving Washington, we wanted to try Dick’s Burgers. I had the Deluxe Hamburger for $5.30 and a Vanilla Shake for $3.80, I liked it because it came with lettuce, beef, and dill. My husband tried the Cheeseburger for $3.80 and a soda for $2.30. The food was affordable and delicious! It was easy to order, and the cashier was nice. We’re glad we got to try it! 🍔😋🥤
After an amazing experience at the Titanic exhibit and to celebrate my good friend’s early birthday, we decided to try A+ Kitchen in Seattle! She was craving Chinese food, so it was the perfect opportunity to sample some delicious dishes. We ordered century egg & pork congee for $9.95, Chinese donuts for $4.95, curry beef brisket in a stone bowl for $18.50, pork hock with bean sauce in a stone pot for $16.95, Szechuan beef lo mein for $12.95, beef brisket noodle soup for $11.95, hot milk tea for $4.45, salted lemon with 7up for $4.45, and hot salted lemon with honey for $4.45. 🥡🥢
This restaurant is definitely worth trying! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, perfect for sharing—and the prices were affordable. It’s a great spot whether you’re dining with friends, family, or even on your own. The service was good too; even though they forgot to bring my friend’s rice, they apologized right away. The place is always packed, but we had a fantastic dinner and created some memorable moments together. 🍲🍜😋🥰

After a concert, we were looking for a late dinner and were thrilled to find out that Chicken Prince was nearby. It’s a Korean restaurant that focuses on chicken dishes! I ordered the Honey Butter Garlic Chicken ($21) with radish, Corn Cheese ($8), and Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken with radish ($21). They close at 12 AM, so I called at 11 PM to place our order. I was a bit frustrated because they only started preparing our food after we arrived and paid, which probably happened because it was so late and I was starving. 🍗💰
However, the server was friendly, and the restaurant’s ambiance was both beautiful and inviting. They have a bar area and dining tables. The food was crispy and delicious! Maybe I was just really hungry, but I would definitely recommend trying it yourself, it’s definitely worth it. 🤤🍴🥰
Plus they have karaoke! 🎶
After an amazing BINI concert, we were on the hunt for a late-night dinner spot where we could relax and stay a bit longer. We decided to try Original Joe’s. The A.C.E. Burger with coleslaw and French fries was tasty and generously portioned at $21—I couldn’t even finish the sides! The Chipotle Chicken Quesadillas were decent, also priced at $21. The Amaretto, though not as good as I’ve had before, was finished off by my husband ($8.25). We also enjoyed Dad’s Rootbeer ($4) and Patio Joe ($11.25), both were delicious. 🍔🍹
Original Joe’s is a great place to hang out, whether you’re with family, friends, or even colleagues. The food is good, and you can unwind and play some games. Just keep in mind that while the servers are friendly, the service can be a bit slow, especially considering the place wasn’t too busy even at almost midnight. 🍴😋🇨🇦
We recently explored a brunch spot near the Canada-US border and had an amazing experience. We tried the small plate of Norwegian smoked salmon with dill, cream cheese, onion, and arugula for $15.75, and the Steak & Eggs, which included a 7oz certified Angus NY steak, two eggs of your choice, GF hash browns, and multigrain or cranberry sourdough for $26.50. To drink, we enjoyed a refreshing Yuzu (Japanese Grapefruit Iced Tea) for $4.75 and a Mimosa for $11.25. 💸🥪🍳
Everything was delicious, and it was a pleasant surprise that the arugula wasn't as bitter—perfect for someone like Luke, who isn’t a big fan of veggies. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It's definitely worth trying and made for a great brunch experience in Surrey! 🇨🇦🤤😋
Before the opera, I’m really excited to try a Filipino restaurant in Seattle’s Chinatown. I just saw it on my friend’s Instagram, and I can’t wait to check it out before we move. 🇵🇭
First, I called to see if we needed a reservation and if I could try their bulalo and spicy adobo. They asked for my name and number and assured me that it wouldn’t take long to get our food. 📞🥘
When we arrived, we ordered more food: rice for $4, calamansi soda for $6, lima for $14, and sweet corn panna cotta for $12 (it’s small but definitely yummy!). Of course, we also got the spicy adobo for $26, which my husband loves—it’s quite a kick! I tried it and found it great for those who love spicy and creamy dishes. I also tried the beef shank soup, bulalo, for $26. It was delicious but lacked the usual abundance of ingredients they only have some spring onions, corn and potatoes. 🌽🥥🍲
The restaurant had a unique Filipino-style interior, which was nice, but I think there are more affordable options with bigger portions elsewhere. 👩🏻🍳🏘️
Yakyudori in Convoy is one of my favorite spots when I crave Yakitori. It’s great because they stay open until midnight. We ordered pork and chicken katsu, steamed and fried dumplings, fried chicken with stir-fried rice, yakitori bacon and asparagus, and chicken gizzards. I miss the food and the place. Even when we’re a group of six and it’s late in the evening, they’re still open. Although the bathroom isn’t very clean late at night, the servers are nice and the atmosphere is awesome! 🍖🍱🍴
I miss R&B in Mira Mesa! The best food here is Sisig and Lechon Kawali! For lunch, we tried Kare-Kare, which is a dish with beef, long string beans, squash, eggplant, and shrimp sauce. We also had Bicol Express, a spicy Filipino dish. Of course, we couldn’t miss out on Sisig and Lumpia! I miss it so much! The server is nice, and the atmosphere is good. It’s always busy and affordable, so if we can’t finish, we have leftovers. 😋🤗🤤

It’s been more than 3 years since I last ate at Rubio’s. I got the Mexican Street Corn Bowl with steak and chicken for $13.99 and a soda bottle for $3.79. There’s also a salad and salsa bar if you’re interested! The atmosphere is very nice, and the service is great. Happy tummy with my leftovers! 🌮😋🤤
Looking for a good and quick brunch option? We tried the 4 carne asada tacos for $9.99 and the 4 tacos de adobada for $9.99, with sodas for $1.89 each. The meal was big, tasty, and quite oily. However, the cashier wasn’t very friendly or doesn’t even greet us. On the plus side, the atmosphere is good and the space is spacious. 🌮🇲🇽🤤
I’m craving some easy and good seafood, so I ordered the easy combo with mussels, clams, potatoes, sausage, corn, and no spicy sauce! My sauce is Garlic Parmesan yum!! I forgot that I should have just ordered directly from the restaurant or called them, rather than using Uber Eats, because I’m not the Uber driver, haha. Just remember, it’s at least $10 cheaper to order directly from the restaurant rather than using Uber Eats or any other website. I love the sauce and the ingredients. The two ladies here are very friendly and she is the one who told me you should just call us or order straight. After I eat, I can use the leftover sauce for new rice, haha! Here are the receipts for more ideas! This is tor me to eat in my house hehe. 🦀🥰🤤
After our spontaneous trip to Diablo Lake, we were craving burgers and fries. We didn’t do any research and just decided to stop wherever looked good on the road. We saw a busy place with a long line, so we thought, why not! Our meal included Parmesan wings for $14.50, the Old Whiskey burger with dill and fries for $17.50, and the Up River Heat burger with dill and fries for $17.50, along with soda and beer. Amazing! The surroundings were beautiful when we sat outside. However, our server wasn’t very positive, and it took a long time to get our bill. At least two other servers asked us nicely if we needed anything. Despite the service, the place and food were spectacular! 🍔🥰🤤
I researched where to cut my long hair after my special day, and since it’s summer, I chose Bellis Salon and Spa. I only wanted a cut and treatment, so I didn’t try other services. Stacia cut my hair. I’m scared that she used shears to thin my long hair, which made the process better. Another one, chair setup meant I got a lot of hair on my skin due to my soft pants, which wasn’t comfortable seating on me like a sofa chair. However, she was very nice, friendly, and attentive to my needs. She even accommodated me earlier than my scheduled time. A month later, my hair feels happy, thinner, and soft. I appreciate her work and love how light my hair feels. I’m just afraid about shears my hair but it is worth it. I would return if I need another cut! 💇🏻♀️🥰☺️
Looking for a easy and delicious food! I need to order in Uber eats and get the food. When I got it I tried the Super bento (sweet and sour chicken, chicken yakisoba with 4 gyoza, 2 spring rolls, rice and salad). They have free water and tea too! I never always try the sweet and sour and I love it! Just remember you can ask for Chopstick if you want because if you leave you don’t have it haha. Worth it! 🥢🍱🤤

Here’s what we tried:

- General Tso’s Chicken: $14.99
- Beef: $6
- Vegetable Spring Roll: $4.95
- Chicken HK Crispy Noodle: $14.95
- Salt and Pepper Fish (it’s crispy; I thought it would be steamed with sauce, but we should ask first): $16.95
- Soda: $2
The food is tasty but very oily and salty which is normal for Chinese food. The guy serving us seemed to be part of the family that owns the restaurant, which was nice. It was a relaxed atmosphere, and we can consider trying another meal here next time!
We tried at El Tajabán in Cabo, Mexico! 🇲🇽 The service was excellent, and the food was delicious, though quite expensive. 🤑The place and its surroundings are amazing! 🌮

The katsu curry was tender and juicy, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory notes from the teriyaki sauce. My dining companion chose the Kalua Pork, which was equally impressive – tender, smoky, and full of rich flavors. 🤤
The portions were large and offered great value for the price. We left feeling more than satisfied and with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. The overall experience was exceptional, and I highly recommend Kona Kitchen to anyone looking for a delicious and hearty meal in a welcoming setting. 🪇
I researched good dry cleaners for wedding gowns and found Corry’s Fine Dry Cleaning in Edmonds. I dropped off my wedding dress and picked it up two weeks later. It was so clean and beautiful, and they even provided a pretty garment bag with a hanger. The service was friendly, but remember, it is not cheap—though definitely worth it! 👰🏻♀️💙👗
Filcuisine always serves such delicious food! Every time we buy and eat, we love it. The Kaldereta is meaty and yummy, though it's interesting that it doesn't have carrots or green/red peppers. There is plenty of meat but not many vegetables. The Talong, Lechon Kawali, Arroz Caldo, and Halo-Halo are all so flavorful and satisfying. The Lechon Kawali is especially crispy and yummy! Our tummies and minds are so happy to have it!

Spontaneous Saturday trip to Diablo Lake in Northern Washington! 🏔️ We drove for almost 3 hours, but when we were looking for a place to park, I lost my signal sevice! 😅 So, we parked when we saw a campsite near the lake and decided to try swimming. 🏊🏻♀️ Diablo Lake is big and long! 🏞️We found a spot to relax and swim, but the water was 10°C (so cold, hahaha!). 🥶It’s still a gorgeous place to visit!
