What kind of videos catch YOUR eye??

Is it the Tik Tok style? Do you like the hand drawing animation? Maybe something completely different??? I want to hear from YOU!! Get crazy and I’ll make that style just to see what I can do!!

Put together a quick cooking video for Chelsey Hansen Independent Consultant with Pampered Chef for her new Pampered Chef InstaPot! For this one I used my new DJI OM 4 cell phone gimbal, editing software on my phone, and the previously made intro video blended in. Worked with phone software for this one for 2 reasons. 1) I do believe the over all “feel” works well for what she wanted, and 2) demonstrate versatility of what I can make!

Today myself and Chelsey Hansen got the opportunity to participate in a local vendor fair in Lakeside CA! It was a great opportunity to network and meet other small business owners! Looking forward to more opportunities in the future!! Here’s a pic of what I set up to show off the equipment I have! (Anyone out there that knows what a soft box is, yes, I DID put the cover on!! 😂😂)

Quick background on me and why I chose the name Sømand Productions!!

I’ve been in the U.S. Navy for over 19 years. Served on a Submarine (USS Alaska) a Destroyer (USS Pinckney), and a Landing Helicopter Assault Amphibious Ship (USS Peleliu). I also spent a year as a Guard Supervisor in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. For the last two years I’ve been stationed as a Navy Recruiter in San Diego, CA and I’ve been the primary content creator and social media manager for the entire Southwest Navy Recruiting Command!!

Many of the videos you’ll see here are for Navy recruiting, but the point of sharing them is to highlight a specific editing technique.

My goal with the page is to help small businesses increase their social media markets with original videos and photographic productions, as well as help with training on the best practices for Social Media.

My last name, Hansen, is from Denmark, and Sømand means Sailor!
