8AM 7/18/24 RADAR UPDATE:
A line of showers and storms is pushing south into our area. These storms should stay below severe limits, but heavy rain, gusty winds, and lightning are all possible. On its current trajectory, expect them to arrive to San Antonio by 10-11am. The storms are forecast to weaken some by this time, with isolated redevelopment possible this afternoon.
6:35AM MONDAY 6/10
Non-severe storms are moving into San Antonio, bringing heavy rainfall and lightning. This will have an affect on the morning commute. Expect this activity to push through by 8am. Tune into GMSA or check back with the KSAT Weather app for more updates!

10am WEDNESDAY Update:
We're watching showers and a few storms approaching from the northeast along an outflow boundary. This will mainly bring rain chances to those along and east of I-35 over the next several hours. Gusty winds are possible with some of the stronger storms east of SA.
Saturday (3/16/2024) 10:15 a.m.
A cluster of storms is moving through parts of south San Antonio and points south. These storms are capable of pockets of small hail and heavy downpours. Areas inside of the white oval have the best chance for rain in the next 2 hours. More opportunities for other locations throughout this weekend. We'll keep you posted on air, online at https://www.ksat.com/weather/ and on the KSAT Weather Authority App!
Here's a look at how much rain fell around San Antonio and The Hill Country Tuesday (1/2/2024). While some storms were loud with small, non-damaging hail, this rain was mainly beneficial! Much of it fell on the Edwards Aquifer drainage and recharge zones. Plus, this should at least put a dent in the extreme drought. Even more good news? Rain will hopefully - at least temporarily - wash some of the mountain cedar out of the air. Yay, rain! We'll have another shot at rain Thursday night. ~ KSAT Meteorologist Sarah Spivey
