Sonority Music Group (SMG) is an Indie record label based out of Wimberley, TX that is determined to show the world that Texas has amazing musicians in the vein of Reggae, Soul, Rocksteady and Dub. Those musical styles are often not associated with the Lone Star state so it has become a bit of a mission for SMG to expose the standout artists in those genres. We are trying to break down the stereotypical walls that Texas is mainly “Country.” That couldn’t be further from the truth.
SMG is also aiming to create relationships with international artists/labels to build bridges that will bring more diverse music into Texas.
DIVERSITY is what SMG is all about while staying true to music we love!
