“As singers, we are story tellers.”
That is what I tell all of my vocal students. We are story tellers, and for that 3 minutes and 47 seconds, whether you wrote that song or not, that is YOUR story! THAT is how you move people.

To say this was a magical experience is an understatement. As artists, I feel there is a lot not talked about regarding the pressures to not just be everything you want, but your perception of what everyone else wants as well. Crafting and creating a sound that can do both is forever the goal and challenge. The want to be liked is so real, and at the end of the day, it is what shapes our success in the industry. Others get to see the glitz and glam of the show and performers, but not the endless nights, the work, time, the struggles, and sometimes down right stressful moments that mend that sound to be JUST RIGHT. BUT we have learned, that to make your heart audible is the only way to come as close to perfection as humanly possible. To create magic with sound in such a way that at the end of the day, you’re so proud of the work that has been put in and the art that has come out, that the thought of others possibly liking it or even loving it is just the cherry on top!

Quemazón and I are BEYOND excited to introduce our long anticipated album, SUCEDIÓ! A compilation of my family’s stories and their encounters with some real leyendas!

We are storytellers.
