I first heard this song 30 years ago from Chanticleer and it still one of the most beautiful renditions of Ave Maria composed by Franz Biebl and performed by Chanticleer. I hope to one day get to hear them perform this live and maybe just quietly sing the bass line in the background.

Thanks Universal Life Church Ministries for giving me the opportunity to Minister my friend Rachel's wedding. Getting ordained was just supposed to be for my two best friends that got married, but 5 weddings later, I'm still doing it. She is a HUGE Billy Joel fan and Steve loves to hike, so I incorporated each of those things into their vows to make a memorable wedding ceremony. I love getting to do this and hope to do many more.

I know I've been M.I.A. but it's got a good reason to help others.

I thought everyone thought about taking their life at some point or another. I thought everyone had a plan of action and basically were just waiting till the moment hit. I found out.....they don't. Now, I'm trying to do my part to help others speak out about their mental health challenges by sharing my challenges.

I had a chance to speak at the Leadership Lab hosted by Mandy Smith, CPTM and Sinclair Ceasar III - Mental Health Speaker on mental health and how it impacts me, me as a leader, and how it helps me be a good leader.

Highly recommend checking out one of their sessions and I hope I get to work with them again soon.

I promise, I'm still alive.🤣 Early flight this morning to LAX for a conference. I was selected to be a NextGen speaker which was AWESOME! I get to speak to the next generation of retirement administrators for 401k's and help guide them on their journey to hopefully not come across the same challenges as I did.

Got to catch up with my best friend since middle school, Jason Brown! He was singing at Calvary Farms and will be at Mad Dogs on the Riverwalk in San Antonio tonight from 5:30-9:30 tonight.

ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE IMPROV! Mr. Martinez put a fun spin in his Speech and Debate class today at Taft High School in SA, TX. With only two spots in the bunker left, each student was handed a career title and they had to do a 30 sec to 1 minute speech on why they should be picked to be in the bunker. These young speakers came up with some great presentations with jobs ranging from Hacker, Magician, Teacher, Doctor, Sales, and even a Farmer to name a few. Hoping to see some of these young adult speakers at some tournaments soon. National Speech & Debate Association it was a fun day.
