I recently talked about game development as a career at an elementary school's career day. A number of the children wrote me thank you letters. Here are a few of the highlights:

"It was the best and most popular job there. I think that we have some things in common. I am doing a project on a video game designer. The project is what we want to be when we grow up."

"I didn't know that you had to do so many things to be a video game programmer, like art and other things."

"I liked the game Scratch. I tried it and it worked perfectly and I loved it. I'm a video game player like you."

"Thank you for showing us how to create a game. Now I can go home and create some sort of game."

What fun! :)
