Every kid begs their parents for a pet, and every parent has to either come up with a good excuse as to why they can’t have one, or they cave. Team pro-pet and team no-pet both weigh in to help prepare parents everywhere for that special day when their child calls them at work and begs you to bring home a pet (while possibly reciting scripture, right Amanda?).

With nearly 20 years in the classroom, high school teacher Christin LaMourie walks us through Teacher Appreciation Week. The good, the ideal, and the... appreciated efforts.

We all have one. A rough day of the week. A stressful, jam-packed, high intensity day. And if you don’t....

LUCKYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

But then on the other hand, there is always that one day of the week you look forward to. The bright spot in your week. Most people say that’s Friday, but then there’s the minority who say it’s Monday. And to those people, we see you, we’re standing, and we’re applauding.

Also, rough days become a little more manageable when you match up your kids’ activities with a favorite mom friend. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

We did something crazy… we dragged our husbands with us to bike across England! Yep, from one side to the other. 176 miles in TWO DAYS! It was insanely stupid hard, and we are SO GLAD we did it!

Hobby (n) : an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure.

We actually had to look it up to make sure we knew what it was. Does it feel like having a hobby was something of the past? Absolutely. But are we pro-hobby-ists..... ABSOLUTELY. It only took us 10 years, but we are finally finding activities that can be done regularly in our "leisure time for pleasure...." (insert eyebrow raise, smirk and potentially eye roll.)

Apparently we aren't alone, because there are plenty of you out there who are doing some pretty jazzy things, and we want to talk about it.

Recently, we had the privilege of talking to three moms who all are parenting multiples!

is raising 2 boys, but welcomed twin girls 10 months ago. As the newest of the bunch, she shares with us how she figuring out the nuances of twins with her other 2 boys at home.

has twin boys! Born on Christmas Eve and with a crazy first week of life, she has honed her skills as a mom of multiples with a 7 year old son and 4 year old twins.

Our final guest is who has 13 year old triplet boys and 10 year old twin girls. She shares with us the logistics of how to make sure everyone is rested and fed, but also how to enjoy these seasons of parenting that really are quite short.
