Unpopular opinion: You do not have to have EVERYTHING sussed out before you launch your business ☝🏼

Not a website. Not a logo. Not a complex strategy on how you’ll grow.

Here is our list of essentials for beginner entrepreneurs to have ready before launch:
— A goal + a target audience
— Your product/services listed out
— Pricing
— Simple marketing plan + objective (choose platforms)
— Register your LLC
— Secure domains + handles
— Basic color palette & type suite
— Wing it with easy, accessible resources to use first hand

Don’t get us wrong, everything else should follow very quickly after your launch, like a full brand & business strategy, your visual identity, a website, etc.

But for a lot of you beginner entrepreneurs, if you just launch the damn thing, you are more likely to fulfill the rest that follows.

Moodboards aren’t just supposed to look aesthetically pleasing. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! It should inspire every aspect of your brand (your vibe, how you present yourself, audience, message, goals, how you style your product, your font + color suites, etc).

Here’s a very very very specific list of things to include in your moodboard that inspire your overall brand:

®️Typography to inspire composition
💻 Websites to inspire layout
🏛 Architecture to inspire to shapes + lines
🧤Fashion to inspire texture + color
📜 Texture to inspire use of background
🎱 Specific objects to inspire vibe
💃🏻 People to inspire your community
📦 Packaging to inspire printed material

The list goes on but the point of the matter: aesthetic comes after.
