Had a great time with Tammy and her grand kids the other afternoon. We walked away with some great pictures of them all together after finally convincing her to jump in with them.

First time renting a Sony 200-600 lens and first time spending Christmas in Cades Cove.

Was a little slow yesterday evening and this morning but wanted to share a few that I got.

We have a few more days left and can’t wait to see what steps out next, actually got a few pictures of a bear yesterday afternoon.

I was honored to take pictures at Noah and Payton Vaughn wedding in Goldsboro over the weekend.

Goldsborough Bridge Battlefield is a beautiful venue and great weather and a stunning sunset was icing on the cake.

Picked up this lens yesterday for landscapes, portraits, astro photography, environmental portraits and to show case wedding venues or anything structural.

I have 3 weddings coming up and I’m excited to put the Sony 1.8 20mm lens to work.

Found this camera last night going through some boxes, I could only smile and remember back starting Pass'n it on Outdoors and then Hands of a Sportsman. This was my first video camera I ever bought and had no idea how to use it 😂.

I remember when I first bought this and how excited I was to film our deer hunts. Even though it doesn’t work anymore I’ll keep it just as a reminder of all the good times and struggles our group had in the outdoors including my personal struggles.

Today I’m glad I still have that passion for film after all these years and it’s funny how our hobbies are a lot like life. Each stage will teach you something about YOU even when you feel like you’re failing at times.

It’s also a testament that hard work, being persistent and never giving up on a dream will always pay off.

Big or small never give up on your dream and enjoy the stepping stone of your life and the hobbies you enjoy.

Photography has been something I’ve tried to improve on the last two years with video being my main skill set.

This new set up Sony A7IV paired with a Tamron 2.0-2.8 35-150mm should do just that.

Now learning the new menu system and see what I’ve really been missing 😂.

Had a great time with Dale Kimrey and Tammy Almany Mcgraw yesterday afternoon for a engagement photo session.

We actually started at 6pm but dang if it wasn’t HOT but they hung in there with me as I walked them to death exploring the all the sites of the park.

Looking forward to finishing editing all their photos and their wedding next month!

Straight Fire 🔥

Filming a wedding is a lot of work! You have to be organized, be prepared for anything and always be one step ahead of the next thing happening. So how do you pack everything you filmed into 1 min 30 sec teaser? It’s not easy and I usually go through several edits, multiple music tracks and hours later I finally have something I’m pretty proud of! Congratulations Tyler and Heather Zonin on your beautiful day and thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. Definitely a fun night and entertaining crowd with all your friends and family. Also if you’re considering venues The Barn At Blue Sky Farm is gorgeous and located in Dallas NC. It’s definitely worth your time to make a appointment and visit their facility..
