The 38th annual Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy is tonight, April 13th, at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort. The evening features a silent auction, music, beverages, savory appetizers, and lots of chocolate. I’ll be co-hosting with The Alliance’s Executive Director, Shelley Schreiner, and Dan R will be the evening’s auctioneer. Tickets are available at the door and the event gets underway at 5:30 pm.

A man sitting in an in-ground hot tub was clawed in the head by a mountain lion on Saturday night, Mar. 18th, prompting Colorado Parks and Wildlife to launch a search for the animal. CPW officers were alerted to the incident and four wildlife officers responded to the scene – a rental home in a heavily wooded subdivision about five miles west of Nathrop along Chalk Creek in Chaffee County.
