The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem held the graduation luncheon for their summer Junior Chefs program on Monday 8/21/23. The annual program is sponsored by Tuscan Brands and run by their chefs. The young chefs learn about all aspects of the culinary arts and received a professional knife set from F. Dick Knives.

The Salem Boys and Girl's Club held their golf tournament, the 44th annual Bill Flynn Golf Classic, at the Windham Country Club on September 19, 2022. The tournament featured over 200 golfers in both morning and afternoon flights. The day started with bagpipes played by Frank Toscanini, ended with a catered dinner with awards and prizes, and tons of fun in between! - with Denise Belair Dolloff

On 8/22/2020, the Salem Boys & Girls Club hosted their Junior Chefs Graduation luncheon. Twelve students took part in the summer program sponsored by Tuscan Brands. The students under the guidance and direction of Chef David & the Tuscan Kitchen team, learned valuable kitchen skills like chopping, sautéing, making pasta, seasoning and most important- kitchen safety & cleaning. They served up a five course meal including bruschetta, homemade pasta, chicken piccata, marinated shrimp, and lady fingers in zabaglione with Fresh Fruit for dessert. Each student was presented with a certificate and a chef's knife set from F. Dick Cutlery. with Denise Belair Dolloff

On April 7th, 2022, the Salem Boys and Girls Club held their annual Tuscan Brands Youth of the Year dinner at Tuscan Kitchen in Salem, NH. The finalists were Aaliyah Campusano, Andrew Clark-Hodgkins, Erin Devine, and William Karantonis. Each finalist prepared a short speech about a challenge in their lives that was improved by their association with the club and were coached on their presentations by volunteers Chris Nicoli, Miranda Ronan, Kenzie Goode, Candice Mieczkowski, and Damon Norcross. This year's judges were Madeline Berni, Tony DeLuca, David Demers, Josh Judge, and Edwin Santana. Erin Devine was selected as the Youth of the Year and she will go on to compete in the program at the state level. Scholarships and gifts were provided for the winner and runners-up by the Faro family and Tuscan Brands, Steve and Diane Hatem, Peter and Sandra Bronstein, Enterprise Bank, and Anthony and Madeline Berni. Sponsors of the event included Salem Co-Operative Bank and Enterprise Bank. - with Denise Belair Dolloff
