I used the new slab throwing technique I learned from the workshop hosted by for this form. It was so fun!!! I see more slab and thrown combo mugs in my future!

Bring those feet over here to our next Art Open House! WVTF Music and RADIO IQ are hosting this event Friday May 19th from 5 to 7pm at our Roanoke Broadcast Center. Artists from The Studio School Roanoke are displaying works in our facility; the open house is a chance to meet with them, perhaps purchase some art and meet other art lovers as well! "Wedding Anniversary" is the title of this oil painting illustration by Walter Biggs. This is a signed 22 x 40 painting from October 1947. With June coming, and a lot of anniversaries being celebrated, this would make this year's celebration very special. Offered at $32,500.
