Hi all! We are back with a new season of "This Land is Your Land: Exploring Massachusetts State Parks, Public Lands & The Great Outdoors!"

In our first episode, we are exploring the 2nd largest state forest in Massachusetts: Savoy Mountain State Forest. With over 50 miles of trails, Savoy is a hiker's paradise. But what do we really no about this mecca in the northwest area of the commonwealth??? Join Salem State student Jonny Dutrow and Regional Interpretive Coordinator Alec Gilman as they explore this hidden jewel!

Hosts Kelsey Grannon-Doll, Jonny Dutrow, and Angela Ceriello explore the history and outdoor recreation opportunities within the state forest. Alec Gilman Western Regional Interpretive Manager with the Department of Conservation and Recreation offers a wealth of information about the history of the State Forest and highlights all the forest has to offer visitors.
