If you stay or can't get out, here are a list of shelters. Get to your roofs after the storm or other high places. Sewage, snakes masses, all sorts of bad things will be in the water. You might get several waves of storm surge that will get progressively worse. Don't think because you survived the initial surge you are out of danger. Make friends fast if your home is destroyed you will need immediate help to get out of the elements. You are not alone there will be other people around you that didn't leave. Memorize were your closes shelter is and a few back up shelters. Help each other out be kind.

I am grateful for the sacrifice of our military heroes who have given their lives to defend our freedoms. It is important to recognize that while some may not fully comprehend the significance of Memorial Day or the reason for its observance, it serves as a solemn reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by those who have fallen in service to our nation.

Expressing gratitude with a simple 'thanks for your service' to veterans is often the extent of acknowledgment, yet Memorial Day is about honoring all our fallen heroes, not veterans. Their sacrifice, along with the profound impact on their families, is a debt paid for the liberty of every citizen of the United States.

Regrettably, the valor of our fallen heroes is sometimes overshadowed by the corruption within our political system, diminishing the very ideals they fought to uphold. It is imperative for citizens to exercise their right to vote and hold elected officials accountable. We must advocate for term limits for all public servants to ensure accountability and prevent the entrenchment of power.

Let us honor the memory of our fallen heroes not only through remembrance but also through active civic engagement, ensuring their sacrifices are not in vain
