Last night was such a full circle moment playing at the iStrive Benefit Gala with Scratch Junktion.

Back in October, before my debut set, I spontaneously hopped on the Unison stage and played on the dj’s equipment (with permission, of course). That’s when I first met Scratch Junktion. We got to talking about DJing after and then connected on social media.

Fast forward about two months, I asked him for support at my first ever gala. Not only did he come through, but he and I played together at Unison, the place where it all started!

Moments like this are a reminder of the power of putting yourself out there, building meaningful connections, and trusting the process. Life is so poetically intertwined. Here’s to the connections that strengthen us and the courage to keep moving forward!

As many of you may know or have heard, the iStrive Hmong Camp will not have enough funds to run a full operating camp next summer due to lack of grant funding. Our goal is to be able to raise funds to be able to continue to run camp at a bare minimum so that the students will still have an opportunity to learn and attend camp. In the past 6 weeks staffs, teachers, Tua Tes Leaders, and students of Strive Camp has graciously volunteered their time to plan the Winter Wonderland Arts and Crafts Fundraiser and the Winter Wonderland Gala Fundraiser to attempt to raise $20,000 toward iStrive Hmong Camp
