Well well well well, GOOD AFTERNOON my catfishing community! Hope everyone got some sleep after that night last night! Wow what a night and some nice fish weighed in! First off, shout out to Team Catman Tackle and Apparel. Thanks for your continued support and the help u provide for us! Love working with y’all!
So, we had an awesome night last night for the “Not the Daddy” tournament. 15 boats showed up to battle it out with a special appearance from the Palmetto State Catfishing club. Had 2 or 3 of their boats out there. Thanks for y’all support! All in all, as always, I’m going to always thank everyone for all of y’all’s support and for helping us make our tournaments what they are. I’m sorry if y’all feel like we “over thank” y’all but it will always be most important. Let’s keep growing and take these tournaments to another level and I know with the support we have from y’all, it will happen! A lot of money was up for grabs last night and it sure as hell didn’t disappoint! I don’t want to keep everyone waiting so without further ado, here is last night’s results…

1st place: High Maintenance (70.9 lbs)
*also winner of the “High Maintenance Braggin’ Rights Pot” & the red Team Catman MH rod

2nd place: Team Catman (70.5 lbs)

3rd place: Cut-N-Up (60 lbs)
*also winner of Big Fish (36.3 lbs)

Also, I would like to say that yalls truly, Reel Katitude, FINALLY caught some fish in our own tournament! We didn’t place but man it was good to get that skunk out the boat! We weighed our 3 fish limit with a total of 44.8 lbs with our big fish being 20 lbs. had some nice big blues show up last night and some nice flat heads! Surprised so many flatty’s were weighed!
Once again, hope everyone enjoyed last night! We have a long lay off till our next tournament on July 20th! Y’all enjoy some family time and do some summer things! Don’t forget about the 2024 Big Cat Series on the last weekend of every month. Hope to see everyone at the next tournament! Thank y’all, thank y’all, thank y’all!

Tomorrow is the big day! Who is gonna come out on top? Think we may have a couple extra boats tomorrow. We will see. Hoping for a great turnout! On a high note, Reel Katitude placed first last night in the 2024 Big Cat Series! 3 fish weigh-in, caught 4 but only weighed 2. We got big fish @ 37.10 lbs and our total weight with 2 fish @ 61.90lbs! Great night of fishing but that pop up storm was a disaster. 40-50mph winds, knocked us off anchor and pinned us to the bank and trees. Luckily Shannon Cantrell grabbed a tree and held us on for dear life while I grabbed my filet knife and had to cut all 7 of the lines on the rods we had out. Lightening struck right next to us and she got a tingle through the tree and let go. Luckily we had the lines cut, cranked the boat and got the hell outta dodge. It was bad. Out of 8 total rods, 2 had no line left and 2-3 other rods had just enough line to cast a short distance. Headed back to the boat landing to regroup and re-rig our rods and headed back out to catch the fish for the win. THAT WAS DANGEROUS YESTERDAY! We are just glad everyone came back unscathed last night and was all safe. Thank you lord.

What’s goin on my catfishing community?! Hope everyone is having a great Sunday so far!
Well, we had a great turnout yesterday for the Reel Katitude “May the Fish Be With You” catfish tournament! We had 14 boats that came and competed for a chance to win it all. As always, we want to thank each and everyone of y’all that made this tournament possible and helping our community grow. We have a lot of great support from y’all and we appreciate y’all and how y’all always treat new comers and how welcoming y’all make them feel. This kinda atmosphere is what is gonna keep helping us grow our tournaments. Shout out to Meraki Unique Designs for the awesome tags that were made, Team Catman tackle and apparel for the rods he gave towards the 1st place team and woman with the biggest catch, Brett Padgett (Driftkingtackle) for providing the awesome DK rod and reel combo for a raffle for all who entered the tournament and Jonathan French for bringing the DK rod and reel combo and also providing everyone with the beautiful bait and going out of his way for doing it. Also, we are affiliated with King Kat and want to thank them as well! So, without further ado, here are last nights results!

Ok y’all, so, Brett Padgett donated a Driftkingtackle rod and reel combo for our tournament tomorrow. This was absolutely awesome of him! Thank you Brett for the donation for our tournament!
