The varsity soccer team traveled to Mason to take on the Bulldogs in the first round of the CAAC Gold Cup. They were defeated 0-2 and will take on Grand Ledge Thursday in the third place match.
The annual CAAC Soccer Cup takes place in four divisions May 13-17 with four teams in each division, seeding and divisional placement determined by coaches. The top four seeds in the Gold Division, the next four in Silver, the next four in Bronze and the next four in Copper.

Flight of the Night, presented by Sports Stop, goes to Anthony Dupuis and Bryce Pratl. Bryce opened the overtime period with a big three point shot and free throws. Anthony hit the two clutch free throws to ice the game. The Redwings won the Ballin’ For Cancer Trophy with the 43-39 win over Corunna.

Congratulations to our Redwing divers who competed at yesterday's Regional in Mason. Kelseigh Schallow finished 23rd, Natalie LaBean finished 10th and Lindsey Smith finished 9th! Both Natalie and Lindsey will be moving on to next weekend's State Meet at Oakland University. Go Redwings!
