Thought of the day: Have you ever felt like giving up on your dreams? What made you feel this way? There are times in our life when things get hard, but that doesnโ€™t mean we canโ€™t overcome these moments. When you zoom out and take a look at the bigger picture, you will see these moments are small in comparison to the celebrations.

Challenge of the day: The next time you feel like quitting, DONโ€™T! Your dreams donโ€™t have an expiration date, so keep trying until you reach them. Affirmations are not a fix all solution. However coming from someone who has struggled with severe anxiety and a low self-esteem in the past, incorporating positive self-talk helped me be more positive on my healing journey. After the first month of really committing to these affirmations and including them into my routine, I felt a shift in my perspective. Those around me also noticed a difference.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind if you decide to create your own affirmations.
1. They are more effective if they are future-oriented.
2. Repeating them clearly and outloud improves the success of your results.
3. Say them with genuine intention and emotions to speed up your progress.

Thought of the day: "Why be normal when you can be yourself?" Authenticity is not a quality we have or don't have but rather a conscious choice in how we decide to show up. It's fully embracing who we are and letting go the expectations in who we think we're supposed to be. It requires vulnerability, transparency & integrity. It is aligning the things you do and say with your true beliefs.

Challenge of the day: Own your opinions, beliefs, likes and dislikes. This may sound easy, but I dare you to continue to own them even if you are in a room with 99 others who don't have the same viewpoint. If you believe something to the core of who you are, it will never be an argument. All it will be is you explaining why you feel the way you do. Don't be afraid to stand out. This post is going to be longer than my other posts, but I hope you stick around until the end.

Thought of the day: Mental Health. 7 years ago, I made the choice to put myself first and started a healing journey I had no idea would put me on the path I am on today. I truly grasp the understanding of, "you can't fully love others, until you learn to love yourself." As humans there is always an internal battle with our ego and soul that our mind has trouble understanding. Our brain is like a computer in a sense of whatever you want it to do, it will do it. You can imagine this representation by picturing the infamous angel and devil on our shoulders contemplating decisions in our ears. We are all born with a blank canvas. As children, we only know what we are taught and shown. We are in our most innocent and vulnerable state as kids. Getting the help we need is anything but selfish or something to fear. If anything it is the most selfless act of love to fix the traumas that have unintentionally been passed down or the traumas we have unintentionally shared by different exchanges between individuals we cross paths with. These vicious cycles will never end and our world will never find peace unless we decide to make the needed change. More now than ever we need to wake up and look at what the world is becoming. It is in our most vulnerable state we find that childlike innocence again. Yes it's scary to look at our own faults, but it beats the alternative of passing pain to the ones we say we love most. How do I know this? Because I've gone and faced some of the darkest areas of my soul. The moment I saw how I contributed to the pain of others, I made a vow to myself to show up and be the best version I could be. Do I have days where it's harder than others? ABSOLUTELY! Are there days I feel like I want to be selfish because it's easier overall, YUP! But then I think about my loved ones,especially our younger generations. They are our future! As adults, it's not about us anymore. It's about the bigger picture of breaking the cycles and chains of which we've been bound for so long. I promise you are not alone. If you don't feel like you can reach out to anyone, I'm here and will guide you to the help you are looking for. It takes a lot of courage to admit you need help. I used to think I was weak. If anything it makes you strong. I also want to recognize the men in our society willing to do the work. Men have always been made to see emotions as a weakness. You are human too and your emotions are incredibly valid. I see you.

Challenge of the day: Think back to a time you were at your lowest. Now ask yourself, would you rather fix the reason you felt so low or would you rather pass it on to your loved ones? It's not a quick or easy process, but you are perfectly imperfect in the eyes of our mighty creator. Our creator, of whom I call God, found me and gave me peace in so many areas of my life I was lacking it. As you begin to heal, you will begin to feel something tug on your heart strings. Thought of the day: This past week, I witnessed a common theme around me. Miscommunication through texting. Texting has become a common way to interact with others. I myself am guilty of utilizing the convenience in this form of communicating. However, if you become conscious of how easily a text can be misinterpreted, it is honestly quite alarming. The way we perceive a text has variables we must take into consideration. We don't get the other's tone, we miss body language, the amount of time we put into understanding can turn into overthinking or lack of attention, and let's not forget the mood we are in when we send/recieve a text.

Challenge of the day: For one whole day, I challenge you to call or meet up with an individual if it is something of importance and involves explanation. Texting is convenient for reminders, quick updates and in a pinch, but if it involves any of importance make the effort to pick up the phone or even meet over coffee. Observe if you notice the difference and become aware. Much love and many blessings! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ -Healer4Love๐Ÿ’œ

Uncertainty, fear and lack of clarity often generate negative emotions and beliefs. This can be detrimental in one's development & growth.

Challenge of the day: Become curious about your emotions. Investigate them and ask yourself what is factual within the situation you are dealing with. This allows us to be more self-aware. Once you target & identify any limiting beliefs, you are then able to align out of resistance and into productivity. Much love and many blessings! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ -Healer4Love๐Ÿ’œ

Thought of the day: Have you ever wondered why it is easier to encourage others than it is ourselves? If I ever hear a loved one talk down on themselves, I'll tell them hey don't talk about my friend that way. More recently I do that for myself. Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think and perfectly imperfect just as you are.

Challenge of the day: It's as simple as talking to yourself as you would to someone you love. Continue to have faith and believe in yourself. Much love and many blessings! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ -Healer4Love๐Ÿ’œ

Thought of the day: The best use of creativity is imagination. The worst use of creativity is anxiety. Often times we find ourselves overthinking situations we have no control over. We may even think of worst case scenarios of the outcomes we believe may happen. This ends up triggering many fears that for some can be crippling. It is important we have control over our thoughts in these situations in order to move forward.

Challenge of the day: Stressing can only make things worse. I challenge you to stop yourself the next time worry or anxiety arise. Ask yourself what you have control over and if there are any solutions to decrease these negative emotions. This requires making a conscious effort. If your anxiety gets as bad as mine can, I recommend grounding techniques for panic attacks. Much love and many blessings! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ -Healer4Love๐Ÿ’œ

Thought of the day: Taking initiative is a form of self-empowerment. Sometimes we hold back from taking risks because we fear the unknown. I truly believe if you feel it with your whole heart and soul to go after something, JUST DO IT! Wouldnโ€™t you rather risk taking a chance than have to live your life with the what ifs.

Challenge of the day: Think of something you are passionate about but have been putting off. Ask yourself why youโ€™ve been pushing it to the side if you are so drawn to it. Then make a choice if you want to take the first step towards it. There is nothing wrong with living safe. Youโ€™re choices are yours and yours alone. Thought of the day: Mindfulness. What does this mean me? How often do I practice it? Sometimes itโ€™s hard to stay in the present if we allow our thoughts to be louder than what is happening around us. Life is a beautiful dance. Mindfulness is allowing ourselves to appreciate and witness that dance.

Challenge of the day: The next time you find yourself lost in your thoughts, stop and take a pause. Bring yourself back by experiencing your physical sensations. Be aware of what your body feels, sees, hears, smells and tastes. Mindfulness isnโ€™t difficult. We just need to remember to practice it more frequently.
