“I would’ve gone with you” I know.🤭
On my days off, I try to unplug the best I can. For me, that means going on a solo date where I’m not recognized. Where I can be quiet. Entertained. Cold.✨❄️
I always take my dog Harley, she gets all of my attention when I’m not reading my book!
I’ve discovered that I do my best “processing” on days like this.
My creativity takes a back seat & peace comes to the front.😌
As a business owner I loveeee my quality time with clients family and friends, but i require downtime & some lightweight “isolation” to recharge! I used to teel so guilty needing alone time...
or not working every waking moment of every day...
OR not spending my time helping someone.
Reflecting on the TRUTH of how I felt, how fulfilled I was then:
I felt so empty and bitter - keeping score of how I was constantly driving hours to see people. Every occasion. Helping with renovations. Coaxing my dad into making the cool things for people who asked (never again dude)
I was giving so much and not getting much fulfillment in return. I was not only choosing the wrong people, but I was giving to everybody & their mom! There was nothing left for me or my sweet Harley.
I didn’t know how to say no.
NOW, if you’re not invited, don’t take it personal. I enjoy my dogs company. I like my ownnn company. I enjoy alone time.
Wanna hang? Schedule it! I’m a busy babe. And I schedule in days like THIS, because they’re necessary.
The biggest difference is I COME FIRST (as I should) and … you should come first in your life too babe.
From now on, i choose me🥰
This is your sign to choose YOU. Whatever that looks like.
Go alone. ✨ Say NO🫶🏼 Fill up your cup until it overflows and THEN you’ll be ready to give. Trust me.
Ok, love ya!!! Bye!🫶🏼✨🥰💕
