Join us at the Harris Center this Saturday for the premier of the feature length "WATERFALL: A Rock Band." Written and produced by our friend Beth Ruyak, filmed by our friend Ken Day, and edited by Jim (DosEckes Productions) this project has been a long time in the making:
"As hippie scenes and the political fervor of the late 1960's pulsed out of San Francisco, a small group of suburban Sacramento teenagers wanted nothing more than to somehow become part of it all. What they did – and what came next – are the unforgettable, true, and surprising stories of WATERFALL: A Rock Band."
This is a coming-of-age story told 50 years later, about making music, making choices, growing up, and finding truth.

On August 31st, 1967, Skyhawk pilots Dick Perry, Dave Carey and Al Stafford were shot down over North Vietnam. Dick Perry was KIA, and Al and Dave would survive nearly 6 years as POWs.

John "JC" Davis was flying with Dick that day, and he worked hard to honor Dick, making certain that his story was correctly told. We were saddened to learn that JC passed away on August 31st of this year - exactly 57 years after he watched Dick Perry parachute out of his injured plane.

To mark the anniversary of Dick's death, we had begun updating and enhancing "Lady Jessie: A Vietnam Story" with new footage. So John, this is for you. Thank you for letting us help you honor your friend.
