: We’re seeing for the first time, 76-year-old Kathleen Garrett-Yopp. Her family has filed a civil complaint - the first step in a lawsuit - against the chaplain who allegedly sexually assaulted her while in hospice on her deathbed, the co. which hired him and the care facility where she spent the last years of her life.

UPDATE: Akemi was reunited with her owner JR, this afternoon, after finding her in a garage along Road 98 in Woodland. Over the weekend, Fox 40 reported that following a car accident on Sept. 26th, the 3-yr-old pit ran out of the car. JR broke his feemer, but has been searching for her since he got out of the hospital. Finally, a happy reunion.

Stockton police arrested these parents, after one of them called for help, for their unresponsive and emaciated 2-year-old daughter. Docs declared her dead at the hospital.
They’ve been booked for child abuse resulting in death.

Fire broke out, inside the old Marysville hotel in downtown Marysville. A battalion chief tells me that it’s been boarded up, and kept secure over the years. So they don’t know yet, how the fire got started.
He says there are flames on multiple floors.
