The Conjuring TV series set in the world of the Conjuring horror movies is in development for Max, the new streaming platform combining HBO Max and Discovery+
Here are some details about the series:

· Confirmation: Warner Bros. Discovery confirms The Conjuring TV show, continuing the franchise’s story.
· Story: The Conjuring TV show plot will continue the story from the feature films, potentially exploring new cases faced by the Warrens or incorporating flashback sequences.
· Release Date: Release date prediction suggests a debut around 2026.
· Cast: The cast of The Conjuring TV show is unknown, but Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga may return as Ed and Lorraine Warren.
· Production: James Wan, who directed The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 and produced the other sequel and spin-offs, is in talks to executive produce. Peter Safran, who produced The Conjuring movies, will come on as executive producer.

The First Omen is coming to on May 30th. I wasn’t able to get to the theaters to see this one, but it has received critical acclaim and it is favorable with general audiences. Have you seen it yet?

Most the beauty of this groundbreaking film was, in large part, due to marketing efforts. Maybe it’s a little too late to breathe life into a project where everyone already knows the history of the original film and its unique marketing campaign. Tiresome repetition or due for further exploration? What are your thoughts?
