Last weekend, local journalists from the National Association of Black Journalists-Sacramento (NABJS) gathered at Underground Books in Oak Park for “Wrapping with NABJ Sacramento.” In the spirit of community service, they provided free holiday gift-wrapping and collected donated books for third-grade students at PS7 Elementary School. The event aimed to promote literacy, celebrate Black excellence, and strengthen connections within our Sacramento community. Many thanks to everyone who stopped by, donated books, or simply came to share in the festive cheer—together, we made a real difference this holiday season!
