Last weekend, local journalists from the National Association of Black Journalists-Sacramento (NABJS) gathered at Underground Books in Oak Park for ā€œWrapping with NABJ Sacramento.ā€ In the spirit of community service, they provided free holiday gift-wrapping and collected donated books for third-grade students at PS7 Elementary School. The event aimed to promote literacy, celebrate Black excellence, and strengthen connections within our Sacramento community. Many thanks to everyone who stopped by, donated books, or simply came to share in the festive cheerā€”together, we made a real difference this holiday season!

In partnership with Underground Books, your favorite local journalists are taking a break from the newsroom to bring you holiday cheer by wrapping your toys, games, books, and more.
