It's hard to keep the spark alive in a relationship.

You used to have so much fun together, but now you can't seem to find anything to talk about at all unless it's taking care of the house or taking care of the kids.

This week in the Love Shack, Mike Gorday is back with us to share his expertise in psychology and give us some actionable tips. Because the secret to making your relationship fun again lies in understanding your partner.

Do you ever wonder why the things you used to love about your partner eventually start to annoy the heck out of you? It's not that you've changed, and it's not that they've changed. It's just that, well, you're human. It doesn't have to be this way, though. If you're feeling like your relationship is stuck in a rut, there are some things you can do to get it back on track.

It's time for us to help you understand the ones you love most. Together, we're going to uncover the many mysteries and anxieties about how we find ourselves so far from the experiences we long for most with our partners.

If you're ready to get out of the rut, this is the episode for you.

Mike is a human solutions consultant who helps individuals and organizations dramatically improve performance by understanding human behavior. With over 20 years of experience in the psychology field, Mike has specialized training and certifications in facial expressions, hypnosis, and body language which give him additional insight into what drives our behavior. In addition to writing and speaking about human behavior, Mike also co-hosts a radio show where he discusses how technology affects human behavior.

Tune in on Thursday to learn all about how to get out of a rut and understand your partner better.

It can be really hard to understand why our relationships are struggling, and it's even harder to talk about it.

We often try to create a story out of our experience, in order to make sense of what's going on. This helps us understand the situation and explain why we're hurting.

The truth is, your story is probably not as spot-on as you think it is. This podcast episode will help you understand why you create these stories, and how they might be hurting you more than helping you.

This week in the Love Shack, we're exploring why we try to create a story out of our experiences when we're struggling in our relationships. These stories help us understand the situation and explain why we're hurting. Especially when we We then tell this story to everyone close to us, and if we're brave enough, a counselor or therapist. What's interesting is that we fight to defend these stories about why our relationships aren't working and when someone doesn't understand them, we feel hurt, and feel rejected when someone doesn't want to hear them.

Your story also might be holding you back from letting the past go and creating the new beginning you're wanting.

Tune in to learn how you can let go of the past and create a new beginning in your relationship.

This week we have special guest Phil Wolfson, MD, founder of the Ketamine Research Foundation, on the show to discuss psychedelics and their potential benefits for relationships. Psychedelics have been around for thousands of years and are becoming a more mainstream conversation when it comes to emotional and mental health research. Can they help us to heal and improve our relationship as a couple mentally, emotionally, sexually, and spiritually? How does the treatment work? Is it medicine? Therapy? Or are we simply rationalizing its uses because it makes us feel better for a short period of time? What are the risks, and potential benefits to consider when exploring its use of it in your relationship? Tune in to find out!

It can be tough to know exactly when you need to get some outside help and support for your relationship.

You might feel like you're struggling on your own, or that you don't want to bother anyone with your problems. Maybe you're wondering if things aren't bad enough...or maybe you think they are so bad you shouldn't even bother.

We're here to help. Today in the Love Shack we're going to talk all about exactly what you need to know when you're looking for help and support with your struggling relationship. We'll talk about when it's time to seek outside help, what kind of help is available to you, and how to get the most out of the support you receive.

Hi! We are Staci & Tom Bartley and we help committed couples rescue their relationships so they can finally create long-lasting love without having to spend hours analyzing their past, beating themselves up, or feeling like they are making no progress. We do this via sharing our unique frameworks, teaching new tools and skills, one on one sessions, and through our signature courses Relationship Rescue and Love For A Lifetime.

If you're feeling lost and alone in your relationship, don't despair. You're not the only one. Millions of people go through the same thing. The good news is that help is available, and there are things you can do to get your relationship back on track. In today's blog post, we'll talk about what to do when you're struggling in your relationship, and how to get the help you need.

No one wants to admit that their relationship is in trouble. It's hard to face the possibility that things might not work out, and even harder to ask for help. But if you're feeling like you're struggling and you don't know what to do, it's important to reach out for help. The sooner you get help, the better your chances are of saving your relationship.

In this episode, we're covering several key topics about what to do when you're struggling in your relationship, including:

Don't try to go through it alone - when you're struggling in your relationship, it can be tough to know where to turn for help. But it's important not to try to go through it alone.
When to seek outside help - when you're struggling in your relationship, it may be time to seek outside help. There are a lot of different resources available.
How to get the most out of the support you receive - once you've decided to seek outside help, there are a few things you can do to make sure you get the most out of the support you receive. First, be open and honest about your situation. Second, be willing to work on the problems in your relationship. And third, follow through with the recommendations that your therapist or counselor gives you.

Join us and listen in live Thursday at 1 pm PST/4 pm EST -- and don't forget to subscribe so you never miss an episode!
