Year 3, complete ✅ what a year…
Reflecting back on what this year was, I realize that this year was meant to be the struggle year. To be honest, I hit a wall with doing everything myself. This entire time (outside of having our audio engineer who makes our podcast sound so good 🙏) I did every single thing myself.
While this did work for a while, in order for us to continue to grow and in order for me to not have to work 80+ hours a week balancing a normal job while still pursuing my dreams in the music industry, I needed someone to take some of the work load off of my shoulders.
But I must say, God’s timing is always perfect. As a lot of you know, I’ve been talking about going back to school (ICON Collective) ever since I started the podcast, which has been pushed out for over 3 years now just due to finances and family not wanting to help me pay for music school.
But what I didn’t realize is that it was giving me time to build the foundation of this platform as well as find someone to help take some of the load off of my shoulders in order for me to actually have time for school. Because just recently, I found out that my parent are now in a position to help me get through the rest of school and I couldn’t be more excited!
It’s crazy how as soon as my parents decided that they were finally going to help me, I randomly meet , had her on the podcast as a guest and she ended up having everything that I needed in a person to help me make this next transition in my life.
The last 2 months, she has been helping me out immensely and taking care of a lot of admin work but I am stoked to say that she will also now be joining me in 2024 as my new cohost!
So please show us some grace as it might take us some time to find our rhythm as cohosts but I am so excited for what next year holds for us and our new little team!
